Is this Grok Build?

No. Grok Bot is the always-on teammate. Grok Build is the coding CLI — /agent/grok-build. Do not run grok mcp add inside Grok Bot.

Can I install this on grok.com?

grok.com uses Connectors (grok.com/connectors → Custom), not this page. This page is the Grok Bot app. A Cursor mcp.json does not show up in Grok Bot.

Do I need an API key?

OAuth hosts sign in with a BibiGPT account. Header / CLI clients use a token from /user/integration. The OAuth connect card is enough.

How does this relate to /mcp?

/mcp is the hub (MCP / CLI / API). This page is the Grok Bot install. Same pipeline after setup — not a second product.

Is HTTP 402 a failure?

No. 402 / Payment-Needed means quota is exhausted — open /shop. Plus 100/day, Pro 300/day. Web-app membership quota is separate.

If a guide tells you to run grok mcp add or edit a .toml file, that guide is for Grok Build. If it tells you to paste a URL into a settings form, that guide is for grok.com.

Agent execution contract

  1. Read the agent-readable block on https://bibigpt.co/mcp, then install from this page.
  2. Confirm the user is in the Grok Bot app (https://x.ai/bot), not grok.com and not the Grok Build terminal.
  3. Add a custom MCP in chat. Say "custom server" or the Bot may install a marketplace plugin instead. We are not listed in the Grok Bot marketplace — do not pretend a BibiGPT plugin search will hit.
  4. Confirm the URL, click Add it. OAuth posts a connect card; sign in to BibiGPT (new accounts can register in that flow).
  5. Type @ and attach bibigpt, then summarize a first video (demo: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1Sk4y1x7r2).
  6. Print the setup report.

Install (primary: custom MCP in chat)

Send this to Grok Bot:

The Bot repeats the name and URL and asks you to confirm. The URL must be https://bibigpt.co/api/mcp . Click Add it.

OAuth servers post a connect card → Authorize → browser sign-in. Servers with no auth just report a tool count. If a server needs an API key, tell the Bot the header name and value — never put the key in the URL.

Verify

Open Settings → Plugins → Yours. bibigpt should be listed. In chat, type @ and attach bibigpt to the task.

Do not

  • Do not run grok mcp add (that is Grok Build).
  • Do not open grok.com/connectors (that is Grok chat).
  • Do not invent a marketplace plugin name. BibiGPT is not in the Grok Bot Plugins catalog.
  • Do not give it an http://localhost MCP. The Bot cannot reach your laptop.
  • A server in Cursor or ~/.cursor/mcp.json does not show up in Grok Bot. The account and plugin library are shared; the Cursor MCP config file is not. Add it again here.
